Product Description If you're a wine connoisseur looking for the maximum in wine storage, we have your solution. This beautiful Wine Chiller by Vinotemp has a stainless steel door, stainless steel cabinet, roll out wood/metal shelves, and a fully digital display. Its front exhaust feature allows you plenty of storage possibilities. This top of the line undercounter wine cellar is designed for home installation only -- not for garage or basement placement. Please note: It is a normal function of the unit for the temperature to fluctuate. The unit is designed to cycle -- and this fluctuation of 5 degrees prevents the unit from excessive cycling. Assembly level/degree of difficulty: Easy. A restocking fee will be deducted if this item is returned.

Oustanding value December 4, 2008 tbird (california) I am very pleased with the construction and durability of the Vinotemp winecellar and the price is unbelievable. The quality rivals that of subzero, Uline and other premium brands and less than hold the price!
Nice Chiller but don't believe the image September 17, 2008 Eric C. Griesshaber (San Jose, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very happy with the quality of the Vinotemp VT-52. I just had it mounted under our kitchen counter and now runs quietly. When we had it free standing in the dining area, it was louder than our full sized refrigerator.
There is a compressor that makes the two bottom shelves shorter. The solution from Vinotemp was to lay the bottles left to right. If you look closely this is not how the bottles are laying in the image of the product. It has wire shelving inside that work very nicely and prevent the bottles from rolling. But they are set to fit bottles laying front to back. So following there suggestion, the bottles roll around if layed left to right on the two bottom shelves. I don't have any half bottles to see if they would fit in there? I would be very happy if there were custom wire shelves that fit in the bottom two shelves that fit the bottles left to right.
Excellent product, very satisfied June 9, 2008 F. Butler (Not Quite at Sea) I was originally concerned after reading some of the reviews here, but after reading the note from the company regarding changes to shipping procedures, I went ahead with the purchase. I am extremely satisfied with the product. This is a solid, professional unit, very well made, and worth every penny.

Excellent wine storage unit January 7, 2008 Mr. Thomas R. Basinski (Getzville, NY) 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
This Vinotemp unit is very high quality and has excellent features. The adjustable LCD readout temperature is visible from 20 feet away but is still unobtrusive. The fit and finish is excellent and the slide out drawers with the hardwood fronts have an excellent feel and they hold all manner of wine bottles. This unit is quite heavy - probably 150 pounds unpackaged and it's a substantial piece of equipment. Be sure to check the condition of the Vinotemp the minute it arrives at your door. The original unit I received was badly damaged in shipping and it wasn't visible until I got the double box opened up. Unpacking this is a bit of a chore due to the sheer weight of the Vinotemp. The rear of the metal case was bent high and low and the handle was badly damaged - it looked as if it had been dropped. I've never had a problem with any Amazon product damaged in shipping and this was a great test of the Amazon customer service system and damaged goods returns capabilities. The response to my inquiry and my problem was remarkable. You ask them to phone you via email and within 5 seconds, your phone rings. You get an automated operator and then a real person about 30 seconds later. They quickly arranged for a new unit to be shipped out and it showed up 8 days later. They also picked up the original damaged unit at the same time. I did get an email from Amazon about 2 weeks later asking me where the old unit was and that they needed it back. I called them and told them that the shipper had picked it up and they told me they would take care of it from there. The real test of a company is how they respond when things go wrong and Amazon did a 4 1/2 star job on my problem with the shipping damage. In summary, this wine storage unit is well made, easy to set up and adjust. It's a bit of a hassle to unbox and move about, but once it's in place, it's a lifetime investment.
